The context:

Before becoming VTEX, Miess faced stagnation and numerous limitations in the technology used.
The problem had already been identified and, when the old platform informed that it was in the process of closing its activities in Brazil, this became even clearer.

Project objectives:

Improve the checkout experience, work better on SEO strategies and, above all, rely on a platform that has continuous technology evolution.

Expectations:

It was expected to maintain the layout previously created by the e-Plus Agency on the old platform, which brought significant improvements in the user experience, increased organic visits and the consequent increase in revenue.

The differentials for choosing VTEX were the Saas model, which guarantees continuous evolution, Smartcheckout, freedom of layout creation (CMS), platform extensibility, infrastructure and security.

The project:

The layout was maintained with minor improvements and a complete migration to the VTEX platform was carried out.
A strategy was designed among the teams so that the deadline, which was a great challenge, was met with excellence.

The old platform could go offline at any moment. The objective was to launch the new one within 30 days. The work started in March 2020 and, in exactly 1 month, the store was launched with the same layout, a coding structure following Google's best practices for SEO and an evolution contract was immediately activated with the e-Plus Agency so that the store was always up-to-date and ahead of competitors.
